Warranty
David Van Heim offers a two-year warranty on parts and labor. This warranty includes shipping costs and shipping insurance.

The Pressurized Viewport
The Etika was born from a fascination with the structural engineering of the first pressurized aircraft, such as the legendary Constellation. Its design is a direct tribute to fuselage windows—those critical openings built to withstand extreme pressure differentials. To prevent the airframe from tearing under stress, engineers used massive reinforcement frames, riveted all around the window’s edge.
The defining characteristic of this model is its “chassis” case. The central unit housing the dial appears embedded and secured by six domed-head bolts. These screws aren’t just for style; they mimic the structural riveting used to seal instruments and viewports to the aircraft’s aluminum skin.
The dual 12h/24h dial mirrors the visual language of drum altimeters and cabin pressure gauges. Wearing an Etika is like carrying a fragment of the airframe—a piece of engineering where every bolt ensures integrity and survival against the vacuum of high altitude.
